Profile categories and work images help customers judge fit, but they should accurately represent work you performed.
Before you start
Use the latest version of ProHelp and make sure you are signed in to the intended account.
Screen labels can vary slightly between iOS and Android, but the same information and controls are available.
Read the whole job, profile, confirmation message or setting before acting.
A few careful checks now prevent duplicate requests, unsuitable applications and misunderstandings later.
Never share the six-digit sign-in code. ProHelp support does not need it to investigate an issue.
Step by step
Edit your profile to choose relevant categories and complete your bio. On your own profile, open the Portfolio section and use the add tile to choose images from your device; you can also enter edit mode to remove an image.
Move through the app deliberately and wait for each screen to finish loading before tapping again.
Review the information shown before the final action, especially a public profile change, application, report, block or deletion request.
When ProHelp shows confirmation, return to the relevant screen and verify the new state instead of assuming a slow network completed it.
How to get a better result
Use sharp before-and-after or finished-result images, remove personal information from the frame, and get permission before showing a customer's property.
Keep information accurate, specific and current.
Customers and professionals make better decisions when descriptions match the real work, availability and expectations.
Written details in ProHelp chat are useful for both sides: summarize important changes and confirm the agreed scope, timing and price.
A budget or early estimate is guidance until the people involved agree otherwise.
Privacy and safety
Protect your sign-in code and avoid publishing addresses, identity documents or payment credentials in public text or images.
ProHelp verifies control of a phone number; it does not guarantee identity, qualifications, conduct or the outcome of a job.
Payments are arranged directly between users.
ProHelp does not collect the money, provide escrow, refunds or payment protection.
If something goes wrong
If a control is missing, confirm that you are signed in, have completed the required profile details and are viewing the correct job or person.
Refresh the screen and check the connection before repeating an action.
If the issue persists, contact support with the page name, approximate time, device type and a screenshot that contains no sensitive data.
Do not create repeated submissions while the status is unclear.
Topic-specific checklist
- Choose categories in Edit profile so customers can see your skills.
- Open Portfolio on your own profile and use the add tile.
- Pick bright, sharp photos in which the finished result is easy to identify.
- Remove addresses, faces, documents and vehicle numbers from the frame.
- Use edit mode to remove an outdated or unrepresentative image.
Use this checklist together with the instructions above.
It focuses on the decisions that are specific to this feature, so a successful confirmation is not mistaken for a guarantee about another person or a future outcome.
A useful final check
Before leaving the screen, ask whether someone unfamiliar with the situation could understand the information you have provided.
Names, job details and dates should be unambiguous.
Check spelling in important measurements, addresses and times, and make sure photos show only what you intended to share.
If the action affects another person, a brief factual message is usually clearer than assumptions or repeated notifications.
ProHelp may update a list after the current screen refreshes, so a short delay does not necessarily mean the action failed.
Look for the confirmation state once, then reopen the relevant page if needed.
Avoid tapping the final button several times.
Duplicate applications, reports or requests do not make processing faster and can make the situation harder to understand.
What this feature does not mean
An app status is useful context, not a promise about another person's identity, availability, workmanship or response.
Make your own decision using the details visible to you and the written conversation.
Do not rely on a ranking, phone verification, budget, review or profile field alone.
For expensive, regulated or safety-critical work, use appropriate contracts and independently verify the documents and insurance required in Latvia.
These habits also keep your account easier to manage later.
Accurate profiles, focused applications, clear reports and written agreements create a better record if you need help.
Support can investigate the information available in ProHelp, but it cannot guarantee a particular moderation result, completion time, payment outcome or resolution between users.
