Photos and a budget are optional on the ProHelp job form. A description alone is enough to submit, but useful images can show condition and scale, while a sensible estimate gives professionals context for their response. Neither replaces a written scope or the final agreement you make in chat.
Choose useful job photos
Add an overview that shows the whole object or work area, followed by close-ups of damage, labels, fittings, or other important details. Good lighting and a steady frame matter more than artistic quality. For equipment, a readable model plate can be helpful if it contains no personal information.
Avoid screenshots or stock images that do not show the actual task. Do not upload unrelated advertising, explicit or violent material, identity documents, payment cards, door codes, faces without permission, or a private address. Crop out vehicle plates, paperwork, family photos, and other details that applicants do not need.
Job images are checked for safety and relevance. An upload does not guarantee approval, immediate publication, or a particular review time.
Add and remove images
- On the add-job screen, tap the + photo tile.
- Choose the camera to take one new photo, or the gallery to select existing images.
- Allow camera or photo-library access when the phone asks.
- Review the thumbnails in the form.
- Tap a thumbnail's remove control if it is wrong, then confirm removal.
- Submit only after the description and photos describe the same task.
Gallery selection supports multiple ordered images. Camera selection adds one captured image at a time. The app uploads images when you submit the job, so stay online and keep the app open until success is confirmed. If permission was denied earlier, enable it in the phone's system settings for ProHelp.
Set an estimated budget
Enter an amount in euros or choose one of the visible presets: €50, €100, €250, €500, or €1000+. Use the number as an honest indication of what you expect based on the current scope. If you do not have enough information, leaving the budget blank is better than presenting a misleading figure.
Say in the description whether the estimate is intended to include materials, delivery, disposal, call-out, or tax where relevant. Applicants may propose a different price because of travel, complexity, parts, timing, or facts discovered in chat or on site.
A displayed budget is not money placed with ProHelp. ProHelp does not provide checkout, escrow, refunds, or payment protection and takes no commission. You and the professional agree the final price and pay directly. Record the agreed scope, amount, and timing in chat before work begins.
Help applicants quote responsibly
Pair images and budget with measurable details. A photo of a wall does not show its exact length; include measurements. A picture of a broken device may not reveal its model; write it down. Mention access constraints, desired dates, and whether materials are already purchased.
Be open to questions. A responsible professional may need to inspect the site or test equipment before committing to a final figure. Compare what each proposal includes rather than choosing only the lowest number. Profiles, reviews, completed work, and clear communication all add context, but no single signal guarantees an outcome.
Troubleshoot photos or budget
If the camera will not open, check the ProHelp camera permission in iOS or Android settings. If gallery selection fails, confirm photo-library access. Try a smaller or different image when one file cannot upload, and use a stable internet connection. Remove an image that is stuck and submit without it if the description is sufficient.
The estimate field expects digits. Do not type words or combine several ranges in that field; explain uncertainty in the description instead. A preset can be replaced by typing a different numeric estimate.
If submission succeeds but the post remains under review, do not create several copies. Automated checking may still be processing the text and images. If rejected, ensure every photo is appropriate and relevant, revise the listing, and contact support when you believe the result is mistaken.
