Add photos from camera or gallery

ProHelp lets you attach job images from the camera or the phone's photo library. Photos are optional, but they can make damage, scale, model information, and access conditions easier for applicants to understand. The add-job gallery displays selected thumbnails before submission so you can remove mistakes.

Take a new photo

  1. Open the add-job form and tap the + photo tile.
  2. Choose Camera from the menu.
  3. Allow camera access if the phone asks.
  4. Take a clear photograph and accept it in the camera interface.
  5. Check that its thumbnail appears in the form.

The camera path adds one captured image at a time. Repeat it when another angle is necessary. If permission is denied, ProHelp shows a permission-related message and cannot open the camera. Go to the iOS or Android settings for ProHelp, enable camera permission, then return and try again.

Photograph only what applicants need. Keep faces, exact addresses, documents, keys, door codes, license plates, and private customer property out of the frame unless sharing is lawful and necessary.

Tap the same + tile and choose the photo-library or gallery option. The job picker supports selecting multiple images and preserves the selected order. Confirm the selection to add the images to the form.

Use the first image as a useful overview, followed by close-ups. Pick original, current photographs instead of generic internet images. Screenshots are appropriate only when they genuinely help explain the service and reveal no private data. The job description should make the relevance of every image clear.

Photo-library access can be full or limited depending on your operating system. If a needed image is unavailable, adjust ProHelp's photo permission in system settings or add it to the allowed selection. Menu wording differs between OS versions.

Remove or replace a photo

Selected thumbnails include a remove control. Tap the unwanted image and confirm removal. This only removes it from the draft job selection; it does not delete the original from your device. Add the correct image afterward through camera or gallery.

Review every thumbnail before submitting. Check orientation, focus, and accidental content at the edges. If the wrong photo contains private information, remove it rather than assuming moderation will hide it.

Upload and review

Images upload when you submit the job. The app waits for the selected uploads and then creates the submission with the successfully uploaded storage references. Keep ProHelp open and online until the success alert appears. Slow mobile data or large files can increase the wait.

Submitted job images are automatically checked. The system looks for appropriate content and a reasonable relationship to the description while allowing varied service contexts. Nudity, sexual content, violence, illegal activity, unsafe material involving children, or plainly irrelevant images can be rejected. There is no guaranteed review duration.

Approval is not a technical inspection of the pictured issue and does not validate your diagnosis. Applicants should still ask questions, and you should describe measurements or model details that cannot be reliably inferred from an image.

Make images genuinely useful

Clean the camera lens and use enough light. Take one wide view for context and one close view for detail. Include a ruler or other safe scale reference when size is otherwise unclear. Photograph labels straight-on so text is readable, but cover serial numbers or personal data that applicants do not need.

Pair photos with text. State what the applicant is seeing, what should change, and whether visible materials are included. An image cannot communicate timing, access rules, or the final result you expect.

Troubleshoot image selection

If nothing happens after choosing camera or gallery, check system permission and reopen ProHelp. If one file fails, remove it and try a different copy or image. Confirm available storage, internet access, and that ProHelp is current. You can submit without photos because only the description is required.

If submission stays busy, avoid repeated taps; wait for uploads, then reopen the form only if it clearly failed. If a post is rejected, remove questionable or unrelated images and revise the description. Contact support with the approximate time and visible error, using redacted screenshots rather than sending private originals unnecessarily.
